The investment will be used to scale their technology and expand commercially to combat single-use plastic, starting with the beauty industry
The startup was founded by Insiya Jafferjee and Amir Afshar, who met during their Masters at the Royal College of Art and Imperial College of London
They aim to create sustainable and compostable packaging solutions using bio-based materials derived from shellfish waste.
