Sustainable Ventures secures £3M fund boost from Barclays and more for UK growth — TFN

Sustainable Ventures, a UK-based VC firm focused on climate startups, has secured £3 million in funding led by Barclays Sustainable Impact Capital and other investors. The funding will support the firm's UK expansion, including a new site in Manchester. Sustainable Ventures has already supported over 450 climate tech companies, creating more than 5,500 jobs. Barclays Sustainable Impact Capital is investing £500 million of Barclays' own equity capital in climate tech startups, with a focus on scaling solutions for environmental challenges. The investment aligns with Barclays' commitment to supporting climate tech and follows previous investments in three Sustainable Ventures-backed companies: Airex, Brill Power, and Sunswap.
