SatSense Raises £750k to Bring Satellite Data-Driven Subsidence Detection to Market
SatSense, a Leeds, UK-based satellite data company, has secured £750,000 in seed funding from NPIF - Mercia Equity Finance, Unipart Rail and the University of Leeds
The company will use the funds to bring its technology to market, recruit a managing director, expand its development team, and scale its operations
SatSense's software detects subsidence using satellite data, measuring changes in ground movement down to 1mm per year to establish the cause of subsidence
This data is used by home buyers, surveyors, mortgage lenders, and insurers, as well as for monitoring critical infrastructure.
