Clean Food Group, a UK-based foodtech company, has secured £1.65 million in seed funding led by Agronomics and SEED Innovations Limited

The investment will be used to develop a yeast-based alternative to palm oil, aiming to reduce deforestation and the environmental impact of palm oil-based products

The company is also investing in a large-scale pilot plant and regulatory approval for its new products.
