Gaussion Secures £2.85 Million for Ultrafast Battery Charging Technology

London-based startup Gaussion, a UCL spinout, has raised £2.85 million in seed funding led by BGF and UCL Technology Fund (UCLTF)

Gaussion develops technology for ultrafast and safe battery charging, aiming to address range anxiety and long charging times in the electric vehicle market

The funding will be used to establish a state-of-the-art R&D facility in London, enabling future growth and innovation

The company's vision is to bring affordable rapid charging to the mass market, allowing EVs to achieve a week's worth of driving in under 10 minutes.
