UK-based insurtech startup Urban Jungle has raised £16.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Intact Ventures
The company, which provides home insurance for renters and homeowners, will use the funding to scale its UK business and expand into new markets
Urban Jungle differentiates itself by leveraging AI technology to detect fraud and reduce costs for customers
The round also saw participation from Ingka Group, the parent company of IKEA, as well as previous backers Eka Ventures, Mundi, and former Prudential UK CEO Rob Devey.
