ExactTrak Secures £1 Million to Combat Quantum Computing Cyber Threats
ExactTrak, a UK-based cybersecurity firm specializing in remote physical memory destruction technology, has raised £1 million in funding
The round was led by the Ministry of Defence-backed defense and security fund from UKI2S, with participation from Future Planet Capital, angel investors, and existing backers
The company plans to use the funding to further develop its cybersecurity tools, particularly those focused on protection against quantum computing threats.
ProblemTechnology
"Cybersecurity threats are becoming increasingly sophisticated, and traditional security measures are often inadequate. Quantum computers pose a significant threat to existing encryption methods, making it even more difficult to protect sensitive data."
Solution
"ExactTrak provides embedded security solutions that protect devices and data from attacks, even when the machine is switched off. Their flagship product, SmartSafe, remotely monitors devices and performs cyber surveillance, including location tracking and remote data encryption. They have also developed a technology that can remotely destroy compromised memory, making it impossible for attackers to access sensitive data."
