Again Raises £2.55 Million to Revolutionize Packaging Reuse with Automated Cleaning Technology
London-based impact tech startup Again has raised £2.55 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Eka Ventures, with participation from Maersk Growth
The funding will be used to develop Again's CleanCell technology, a network of automated, micro-cleaning facilities designed for packaging reuse
Again plans to launch three to five CleanCells in the UK later this year.
ProblemTechnology
"Reusable packaging is expensive for brands, making it difficult to adopt a circular economy."
Solution
"Again is building a network of automated micro-cleaning facilities called CleanCells that use robotics to clean packaging, making it as affordable as single-use packaging for smaller brands."
