Riverlane Secures £14.6 Million to Advance Quantum Computing Operating System
Cambridge-based quantum computing software company Riverlane has raised £14.6 million in a Series A funding round led by Draper Esprit
The funding will be used to further develop Deltaflow, Riverlane's operating system for quantum computers, and to support the company's international expansion
Riverlane's goal is to make Deltaflow the global standard for quantum operating systems, enabling software developers to access and utilize the power of quantum computers.
ProblemTechnology
"Quantum computers are powerful but difficult to program. There is no standard way to write software for them, making it hard for developers to create applications that work across different types of quantum hardware."
Solution
"Riverlane is building Deltaflow, an operating system for quantum computers. Deltaflow acts as a translator between quantum hardware and software, making it easier for developers to write programs that work on any quantum computer. This will accelerate the development of quantum applications and make quantum computing more accessible."
