  • Skyports, an urban air mobility infrastructure provider and drone delivery operator, has raised £5.35 million in Series A funding

  • The round was led by Deutsche Bahn Digital Ventures and Groupe ADP, with participation from Levitate Capital

  • The funding will be used to acquire sites for passenger and cargo vertiports in cities worldwide.

    • ProblemTransportation

"The current transportation infrastructure is congested and inefficient, especially in urban areas. This leads to delays, pollution, and a lack of accessibility for many people."

      Solution

"Skyports is building a network of vertiports, which are landing pads for electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, to provide a new, efficient, and sustainable mode of transportation in cities. These vertiports will enable the safe and efficient operation of air taxis and cargo drones, reducing congestion and pollution while providing faster and more convenient travel options."
