The company plans to launch the pen in the UK and Benelux markets later this year and is in talks with NHS to supply the pens.
ProblemHealthcare
"Early diagnosis of Parkinson's disease is crucial for effective treatment and management, but current methods can be expensive, invasive, and time-consuming. Many people with Parkinson's are diagnosed late, when symptoms are more severe and treatment options are limited."
Solution
"Manus has developed a digital pen that uses sensors to analyze hand movements and detect early signs of Parkinson's disease. This pen is a quick, inexpensive, and non-invasive alternative to traditional diagnostic methods, making it easier and more accessible for people to get diagnosed early."
