Cheesecake Energy Secures £9.4 Million Government Grant for Energy Storage Project
Nottingham-based energy storage company Cheesecake Energy has received £9.4 million in funding from the UK government's Longer Duration Energy Storage competition
The funding will be used to install Cheesecake Energy's energy storage solution as a microgrid in Colchester
The company's eTankers will collect energy from an 8MW solar farm and a central heat pump
This project aims to address local grid limitations and enhance energy security.
